[ENG/ESP] NEW MOON, NEW MONTH - LUNA NUEVA, NUEVO MES (November/Noviembre'21)

[ENGLISH READ BELOW]

"Kartika" is the eighth lunar month of the Hindu calendar. It is considered the holiest month of the entire year, auspicious for various rituals, prayers and personal spiritual practices. Many festivals take place during this period, beginning with Diwali and the Pooja of Maha Lakshmi on November 4.

Another festival of importance during this month is "Surya Shashti" where the solar deity is worshipped for progress, life force and health. It will be on November 9, day in which it will be auspicious to offer candles or incenses to this deity: Surya.

The lunar month begins on this occasion in the Nakshatra "Swati", a lunar mansion very close to the star Arthur. Swati means "The Sword", which has to do with the air element. The deity associated with this Nakshatra is "Vayu" who rules the winds, the air. This denotes that during the next lunar month it will be important to practice conscious breathing, Pranayamas. This may be a lunar month in which we are presented with situations in which we must breathe three times before responding. In addition, the planet that rules this position is Rahu (the North Node in modern Astrology) and its nature in itself has to do with smoke, gas, the ethereal. Rahu is the one who causes the lunar eclipse of November 19.

Swati has as its symbol the plant that bends in the wind. This teaches us something about this lunar month, in which the external winds will be agitated but we must know how to adapt to them, preserving our essence, without any external force bending us completely or breaking us.

This lunar month can confront us with karmic situations: Saturn is exerting its tenth aspect on the Moon and the Sun in Conjunction. Saturn is the planet of Karma, and its tenth aspect tells us about it, about situations that Saturn during this month will provoke at the Karma level. In addition, in Libra, where the lunar month begins, not only the Moon and the Sun are present, but also Mercury and Mars.

A mutual aspect as is happening between Saturn and Mars causes some tension that can trigger some hyperactivity. The conjunction of Mars with Mercury on Wednesday, November 10 may also provoke some tension, especially at the mental level.

The Sun will change sign on Tuesday the 16th, entering Scorpio, where the two eclipses will take place.

Lunar Eclipse November 19:

It is special, because it occurs in the 3rd degree of Taurus, degree in which the Moon finds its maximum exaltation. All planets have what we call in Astrology "dignities": sometimes they are debilitated, sometimes they are in their own house, sometimes they are in exile and sometimes they are in exaltation. The latter is the most favorable of all dignities in Vedic Astrology, the exaltation, when a planet is in its splendor, radiating all its energy. And it is at that moment that the Eclipse occurs, at a precise moment when the Moon shines with all its energetic potential.

The Moon will be in the Nakshatra Krittika, at a degree very close to the Pleiades. A lunar mansion related to the fire element: its deity is Agni, and its ruling planet is the Sun. Krittika is characterized by representing the struggles for social causes and the desire for purification. Its auspicious direction is the North.

Solar eclipse December 4:

This day is very special, for not only is there the eclipse of the Sun in the 18th degree of Scorpio, but on the same day there is the ingress of Mars into this sign. Ketu (the South Node) has already been in Scorpio for many months, and together with Mars are the two rulers of this water sign. Both will be in Scorpio. For those of you who did the Astral Chart reading during this year 2021, I indicated how this particular eclipse affects you, in which House and aspects of life and how you should prepare for it (review the audio). Mars will be in Scorpio until mid-January 2022, at which time it will cross from its water sign, to a fire sign (Sagittarius) with what this may entail by transiting one of the so-called in Vedic Astrology "Gandanta Points", which also have strong meaning with respect to personal Karma.

The solar eclipse occurs in the Nakshatra Jyestha, as it occurred last year in the eclipse of December 14, 2020. Jyestha has to do with power, especially with political power, and produces movements around it (I remind you that shortly after that eclipse of 2020 there was the attempted assault on the Capitol in the United States). Jyestha's auspicious direction is West.

I want to talk about all this in a video in the next few days, on the YouTube channel "QdeCuenco". Pay attention to the videos that will be coming soon.

To sum up:

Comes a month that gives beginning in the Nakshatra Swati, whose motivation of Swati is Dharma, and its typology is "devic", which points out a month with great relevance in the spiritual aspect.

People who are born with the Moon in this position need some solitude to balance themselves, they are usually very sensitive, and given to study divine aspects of life. So, pay attention to your desires for solitude if they become necessary. Swati gives importance to independence. But at the same time, a lunar month initiated in Libra speaks to us of relationships: sometimes they can be social, work or even business. Good time for it, but not in the period between eclipses, attention to this.

Eclipses come to produce movement, unmask hidden aspects, and externalize the interior. It is important to know where exactly they fall in our birth chart, in which houses, but for everyone the sign in which they occur is in Taurus (the lunar) and Scorpio (the solar). Taurus has to do with the energy of the earth, of abundance, of well-being; Scorpio is related to the occult, the emotional, the sensitive. The lunar eclipse will speak to us to consider our well-being, and the solar eclipse to attend to the emotions that arise from the deepest.

Take advantage of the healing power of the sun's rays and the moon's rays during this period, as they are considered the most healing rays of the year. Bask in the sun as much as you can, and observe the moon on the nights when it shines the brightest.

It will be a month of external movements that can shake you especially internally: remember the symbol of the plant that moves with the wind, without rigidity, but retaining its essence.

Kartika is the most powerful month in terms of sacred rituals and personal spiritual practices, do not neglect these aspects. Jupiter has a lot to do with spiritual practices, and on Saturday the 21st it will move from Capricorn into its rapid transit through Aquarius, an easier sign for the great teacher Jupiter.
