Luna Llena en Magha Nakshatra (3º Leo)

Este próximo miércoles se dará la Luna Llena. Esta Luna estará en ese momento en Leo, y dentro de lo que es este Signo, en la Nakshatra o Mansión Lunar llamada “Magha”. A nivel astronómico se corresponde con la Estrella Régulus “el Rey”. Hablemos de los detalles de este espacio del cielo, después de los horarios de la Luna Llena para Nepal, España (Europa GMT+1) y Latinoamérica; y por último de cómo puedes vivir personalmente este fenómeno de Oposición Luna-Sol. También os daré para finalizar este escrito, como es costumbre, las Sílabas de Poder, más los Mantras adecuados para una Práctica conectada con los Astros, actividades Favorables y No Favorables, y más datos útiles. Voy a centrarme en señalar lo que considero más importante de esta Nakshatra, aunque más datos no los facilitaré para no alargar el estudio (quienes seguís el "VedicAstroMeeting Online" tendréis información más detallada en nuestro encuentro por Vídeo).

📌 Como decía, Magha expresa el hacer cosas a lo grande, el realizar eventos que requieran grandeza y pensamiento magnánimo. La mansión lunar de Magha está en Leo, la Casa del Sol, el “Rey” de la Astrología. Además no es una Luna Nueva donde las energías lunares andan en horas bajas, sino que hay una fuerza lunar que recibimos por el impacto de los rayos de Sol, del propio Rey, que ayuda a esta Luna a realizar sus propósitos: la Luna en Leo está en la Casa del Sol, que es casa amiga, lo que pone fácil los procesos. 

Cuando la Luna activa este espacio, más aún cuando lo hace en modo de Luna Llena, nos habla de todo lo referente a Ancestros, y lo que nos viene de ellos. Es decir, es el momento de abrir el canal a recibir de nuestros padres, de nuestros maestros, de nuestros antepasados. Pueden ser consejos, lecciones, bienes, herencias... Magha tiene que ver con la figura de Autoridad, ya sea familiar o en otro ámbito, y no hay mayor deseo de todo Rey sino legar a su descendencia lo mejor de sí. Aquí, en este día, la Luna está Llena y puede llenarse todavía más, de sabios consejos, de lecciones, de herencias. 

📌 Siempre os digo que para estudiar Nakshatras hemos de estudiar otros elementos como por ejemplo la Deidad asociada.  En este caso es Pitris, que representa a nuestros ancestros y antepasados familiares. A su vez, el planeta que rige a Magha es Ketu (el Nodo Sur, que no es propiamente un planeta, sino un cruce de ejes como ya hemos señalado en otras ocasiones). Ketu en Astrología Védica, entre otras materias, nos habla de desprendimiento, desapego, Karma pasado y Ancestros familiares. Como veis, la importancia de esta luna llena deriva principalmente en respetar a quienes reconocemos como figuras de autoridad, y en venerar de alguna forma a nuestros familiares que ya no están con nosotros en este plano. 

📌 Si he leído tu Carta Astral, o cualquier otro Astrólogo o Astróloga te ha dicho que tienes un “Pitru Dosha” este artículo es para ti. O bien, si sientes que tienes una deuda kármica con tu Árbol Genealógico, o que simplemente quieres ayudar a tus antepasados... al final del artículo explicaré algunos métodos fáciles. Pero esta Luna es importante para ello.

📌 Aspectos planetarios: 

En cuanto a la configuración del Cielo en el momento exacto de Luna Llena, veamos primero en esta primera fotografía cómo la Luna rompió hace pocos días (el 11 de febrero) el Kalasarpa. Las dos Cartas Astrales a continuación son la misma, del 11 de febrero. En la primera vemos claramente qué es el Kalasarpa, porque en la mitad derecha de la Carta, tras el Eje Rahu-Ketu (Ra y Ke) he dibujado un triángulo en el que veis que no hay planetas.

En la segunda foto, en rojo, he señalado en círculos a Rahu y Ketu, y he añadido una flecha que expresa la dirección de la Luna, que pasó el día 11 al área donde no hay planetas, rompiendo ese Kalasarpa:

Respecto a la Carta Astral en el momento exacto de Luna Llena el miércoles 16, queda como veis a continuación:

Como veis, en esta última foto la Luna se ha movido, para estar en el momento exacto de Luna Llena frente al Sol (ambos resaltados). Esta será la disposición exacta de los Astros en el momento de Luna Llena. Cabe resaltar en cuanto a Aspectos Planetarios la influencia de Júpiter (un buen aspecto en cuanto impacta directamente en la Luna); y el hecho de que Ketu (ya hemos citado qué significa) está a 4 Casas de la propia Luna, en una Nakshatra como dije cuyo Planeta de influencia es ese mismo Ketu.

Es tiempo de valorar qué hemos aprendido de nuestro padre, de nuestra madre, abuelos y abuelas... y qué hemos recibido, de dónde venimos, cuál es nuestro origen. 

📌 Horarios: 

Luna y Sol se hallarán uno frente a otro en el grado 3° de Acuario (el Sol) y Leo (la Luna). Ese grado lunar pertenece a la “pada 2”, que está influenciada por Tauro (el signo además donde se exalta la Luna). Aquí, en lenguaje astrológico estamos conectando con la Madre. Además hemos de ver dónde se encuentra Venus en estos momentos en el cielo, y se halla en una extraña Conjunción con Marte, en Sagitario (excepcionalmente larga por salir hace poco de su modo Retrógrado). Dos conceptos son claves: Creatividad y Búsqueda de Seguridad. La práctica religiosa, espiritual o personal será un ingrediente de ayuda...

El día de Luna Llena, llamado “Purnima” en Astrología Védica, es un momento (al igual que la Luna Nueva) muy indicado para ofrendar, ofrecer o recitar para nuestros antepasados familiares, independientemente de la Nakshatra donde se encuentre la Luna. Pero como vemos, este día será especialmente poderoso para rituales, ofrendas o Poojas dedicadas a estos familiares, porque puedes aprovechar la energía de la Nakshatra Magha más la energía del día Lunar “Purnima”.

Os facilito cuándo da inicio y cuándo finaliza ese día lunar, para que podáis realizar tales actividades en el margen temporal adecuado:

El cuadro de arriba señala el periodo de inicio y final del día lunar que marca la Luna Llena (Purnima), cuyo momento exacto se produce en el horario que veis en la columna derecha, cuando acaba ese día lunar. Ese es el momento exacto de oposición luna-sol, el momento exacto de luna llena. A partir de ese instante la luna supera en grados al sol, por lo que ya estamos hablando de otro día lunar: “Krishna Pratipada”.

📌 Cómo vivirás el fenómeno de la Luna Llena dependerá de la Casa Astrológica en la que suceda esta Lunación en tu Carta Astral Védica personal. También ello indica la predilección o en qué ancestros podrías fijar tus ofrendas y práctica durante esta semana...

Incluyo a Júpiter por hallarse junto al Sol en Acuario; a Saturno por ser el Regente de ese Signo; y a Venus ya dije hace poco por qué. Y siempre insisto en que si te he facilitado tus Mantras Personales para cada planeta es el momento adecuado para esa práctica porque esos Mantras son más poderosos para ti, y tienen las sílabas exactas que te conectan con las Fuerzas Cósmicas a través de los Planetas y el Sonido.

🕉 De los tres principales dioses hindúes, es Brahma quien rige esta Nakshatra. Puedes usar uno de los Mantras o Mahavakyas, os dejo a modo de ejemplo el más conocido:

🕉 La sílaba de Poder sobre la que se asienta la Luna en esta Luna Llena es “Mi”. Puedes recitarla, especialmente en el momento exacto de Luna Llena, que es cuando la sílaba estará activa.

📌 Remedios: 

Ahora sí vamos a enumerar las prácticas que pueden ayudarte a conectar con tus ancestros o antepasados familiares. 

 ✅ Realizar una donación económica en nombre de aquellas personas de tu árbol genealógico a las que quieres ayudar a nivel kármico. La ayuda a personas necesitadas u organizaciones benéficas tendrá más efectos estos días. Siempre os recomiendo colaborar con la ONG "Familia de Hetauda" (click aquí)

✅ Encender velas, inciensos o cualquier otro tipo de ofrenda también puede ser de mucha utilidad. Si la relación con ese familiar era conflictiva en vida, la ofrenda puedes hacerla fuera de casa, o al aire libre. El Fuego ayudará porque la Luna se halla en un Signo de este Elemento.

✅ Si tienes un Altar puedes allí ofrendar comida. 

✅ Os recomiendo en particular ofrecer Agua, ya que además es este elemento al que pertenece esta Nakshatra, Magha. Puedes ofrecerla en tu Altar (retirarla al día siguente). También hay otra opción aunque hay quien prefiere que lo hagan los sacedotes, pero si sabes realizar "Abhishekam" o "Jal Chadhana" con agua, genial. Si no, solamente ofrecer Agua en tu Altar será suficiente...

✅ Medita sobre el Pitru Gayatri Mantra; o simplemente escúchalo; o ambienta tu espacio con él: click aquí para esucharlo.

✅ El mayor de los Remedios en estos días será que encuentres la Paz con tus antepasados, si con alguno hay todavía conflictos latentes en tu Ser.

📌 Actividades favorables con la luna en Magha: todo lo relacionado con la Familia y el árbol genealógico, estudio de la Historia, actividades religiosas, buscar posiciones de poder, honrar ancestros...

Actividades no favorables: todo lo que conlleve el manejo en exceso de Tecnología, actividades serviles, prestar dinero.

Full Moon in Magha Nakshatra (3º Leo)

This coming Wednesday there will be a Full Moon. This Moon will be at that time in Leo, and within this sign, in the Nakshatra or Lunar Mansion called "Magha". On an astronomical level it corresponds to the Star Regulus "the King". Let's talk about the details of this space in the sky, then about the times of the Full Moon for Nepal, Spain-Austria (Europe GMT+1) and Latin America; and finally about how you can personally experience this Moon-Sun Opposition phenomenon. I will also give you to end this writing, as usual, the Power Syllables, plus the appropriate Mantras for a Star-connected Practice, Favourable and Unfavourable activities, and more useful data. I will focus on pointing out what I consider most important in this Nakshatra, although I will not provide more data so as not to lengthen the study (those of you who follow the "VedicAstroMeeting Online" will have more detailed information in our Video meeting).

As I was saying, Magha expresses doing things in a big way, doing events that require grandeur and magnanimous thinking. The lunar mansion of Magha is in Leo, the House of the Sun, the "King" of Astrology. Moreover, it is not a New Moon where the lunar energies are at a low ebb, but there is a lunar force that we receive from the impact of the Sun's rays, from the King himself, which helps this Moon to realise its purposes: the Moon in Leo is in the House of the Sun, which is a friendly house, which makes the processes easier. 

When the Moon activates this space, even more so when it does so in Full Moon mode, it speaks to us of everything related to Ancestors, and what comes to us from them. That is, it is the time to open the channel to receive from our parents, from our teachers, from our ancestors. It could be advice, lessons, goods, inheritances... Magha has to do with the figure of Authority, be it in the family or in another sphere, and there is no greater desire of any King than to bequeath the best of himself to his descendants. Here, on this day, the Moon is Full and can be filled even more, with wise counsel, with lessons, with inheritance. 

I always tell you that in order to study Nakshatras we have to study other elements such as the associated Deity.  In this case it is Pitris, who represent our ancestors and family ancestors. In turn, the planet that rules Magha is Ketu (the South Node, which is not really a planet, but a crossing of axes as we have already pointed out in other occasions). Ketu in Vedic Astrology, among other subjects, speaks of detachment, detachment, past Karma and family Ancestors. As you can see, the importance of this full moon derives mainly from respecting those we recognise as authority figures, and venerating in some way our relatives who are no longer with us on this plane. 

If I have read your birth chart, or any other Astrologer or Astrologer has told you that you have a "Pitru Dosha" this article is for you. Or, if you feel you have a karmic debt to your Family Tree, or you simply want to help your ancestors... at the end of the article I will explain some easy methods. But this Moon is important for that.

📌 Planetary aspects: 

Regarding the configuration of the Sky at the exact time of Full Moon, let's first see in this first picture how the Moon broke a few days ago (February 11) the Kalasarpa. The two Astrological Charts below are the same, from February 11th. In the first one we see clearly what the Kalasarpa is, because in the right half of the chart, after the Rahu-Ketu Axis (Ra and Ke) I have drawn a triangle in which you see that there are no planets.

In the second picture, in red, I have circled Rahu and Ketu, and I have added an arrow expressing the direction of the Moon, which passed on the 11th into the area where there are no planets, breaking that Kalasarpa:

As for the Chart at the exact time of the Full Moon on Wednesday the 16th, it looks as follows:

As you can see, in this last picture the Moon has moved, to be at the exact moment of Full Moon in front of the Sun (both highlighted). This will be the exact arrangement of the stars at the time of the Full Moon. It is worth noting in terms of Planetary Aspects the influence of Jupiter (a good aspect in that it impinges directly on the Moon); and the fact that Ketu (we have already mentioned what it means) is 4 Houses from the Moon itself, and Moon is in a Nakshatra, as I said, whose Planet of influence is that same Ketu.

It is time to value what we have learnt from our father, our mother, grandfathers and grandmothers... and what we have received, where we come from, what is our origin. 

📌 Timetables: 

Moon and Sun will be opposite each other in the 3rd degree of Aquarius (the Sun) and Leo (the Moon). That lunar degree belongs to "pada 2", which is influenced by Taurus (the sign also where the Moon is exalted). Here, in astrological language we are connecting with the Mother. We must also look at where Venus is at this time in the sky, and it is in a strange conjunction with Mars, in Sagittarius (exceptionally long as it has recently come out of Retrograde mode). Two concepts are key: Creativity and the Search for Security. Religious, spiritual or personal practice will be a helpful ingredient...

The Full Moon day, called "Purnima" in Vedic Astrology, is a time (like the New Moon) well suited for offering, offering or reciting for our family ancestors, regardless of the Nakshatra where the Moon is located. The above chart marks the beginning and ending period of the lunar day that marks the Full Moon (Purnima), whose exact moment occurs at the time you see in the right-hand column, when that lunar day ends. This is the exact moment of opposition of the moon-sun, the exact moment of the full moon. From that moment on, the moon exceeds the sun in degrees, so we are already talking about another lunar day: "Krishna Pratipada".

How you will experience the phenomenon of the Full Moon will depend on the astrological house in which this lunation occurs in your personal Vedic birth chart. It also indicates the predilection or on which ancestors you might fix your offerings and practice during this week....

The syllable of Power on which the Moon sits in this Full Moon is "Mi". You can recite it, especially at the exact time of Full Moon, which is when the syllable will be active.

📌 Remedies: 

Now we will now list the practices that can help you connect with your ancestors or family ancestors. 

✅ Make a financial donation in the name of those people in your family tree whom you want to help on a karmic level. Helping people in need or charities will have more effect these days. I always recommend you to collaborate with the NGO "Familia de Hetauda" (click here).

✅ Lighting candles, incense or any other type of offering can also be very useful. If the relationship with that relative was troubled in life, the offering can be made outside the home, or in the open air. Fire will help because the Moon is in a Sign of this Element.

✅ If you have an Altar you can offer food there. 

✅ I particularly recommend you to offer Water, as this is also the element to which this Nakshatra, Magha, belongs. You can offer it on your Altar (remove it the next day). There is also another option, although some people prefer the priests to do it, but if you know how to perform "Abhishekam" or "Jal Chadhana" with water, great. If not, just offering Water on your Altar will suffice....

✅ The greatest of Remedies these days will be for you to find Peace with your ancestors, if with any there are still latent conflicts in your Being.

Favourable activities with the Moon in Magha: everything related to the family and the family tree, study of history, religious activities, seeking positions of power, honouring ancestors...

Unfavourable activities: everything that involves excessive handling of technology, servile activities, lending money.
