La luna llena de esta noche está relacionada con Dattatreya, lo que nos conectadirectamente con la Trimurti o Tríada principal de dioses del Hinduismo: Brahma, Vishnu y Shiva. También en parte está relacionada con Krishna, pues el mismo Krishna dice en el Bhagavad Gita (10.35): “De los meses, yo soy Margashira”
Dattatreya es una deidad personificada en la existencia de un ser humano, hijo del gran sabio Atri, quien escribiese varios himnos pertenecientes al Rig Veda. Este sabio tuvo la bendición, mediante su mujer (y por una historia algo extensa y particular) de tener 3 hijos santos, que serían la reencarnación de la Trimurti (Brahma, Vishnu y Shiva). A Dattatreya se le representa a veces como la representación de Vishnu, a veces como la de Shiva, y muchas otras veces se le representa con tres cabezas, o más bien una cabeza con tres caras, que hace referencia a la personificación en él mismo de estos tres dioses principales del Hinduismo.
Las primeras menciones a Dattatreya se hace en el Mahabharata y en el Ramanaya. Viajó buscando su iluminación por lo que hoy es Karnataka, Gujarat y Maharastra. Encuentro muy interesante que Dattatreya definiese como suyos a 24 maestros entre los que estaban el Mar, cuyas olas suben y bajan pero nunca se rebasa (aprendiendo así cómo controlar su Mente) la polilla, que ante una fogata se lanza al fuego y se destruye (aprendiendo así a controlar su Sexualidad), o las abejas, que recolectan polen de todo tipo de flores (aprendiendo que es posible aprender de todos y de todo), o el pez, que al picar en el anzuelo muere (aprendiendo a controlar su apetito).
Fue en esta Luna Llena de este Mes lunar en la que Dattatreya encontró la Iluminación. El mes lunar, llamado Margashira, es el noveno mes lunar, y se da esta luna en Géminis, y el Sol en el noveno signo zodiacal: Sagitario, exactamente en el grado 3º19’ (os recuerdo, hablo de Astrología Védica, que además tiene consonancia con los grados Astronómicos, no sólo Astrológicos).
Siempre os hablo de Nakshatras, ya que Jyotish o Astrología Védica se basa en ellas principalmente. Y como cada mes lunar, éste recibe su nombre en función de la Nakshatra en la que se celebra su Luna Llena, en este caso la Nakshatra Mrigashira. Y la sílaba que conecta con esta mansión lunar es “Ka”, o “Kaa” que podeís recitar a modo de mantra. La dirección auspiciosa para esta Nakshatra es el Sur. El planeta regente de esta mansión lunar es Marte; y la deidad es Soma, la deidad lunar.
La Luna llena de diciembre se va a dar en la constelación de Orion, y cuando este astro recorre esta porción del cielo es un buen momento para la investigación, el estudio y el abrir los ojos a nuestro alrededor. El animal que la representa es el Ciervo, Mrigashira significa “la cabeza del ciervo, que gusta de explorar a su alrededor, con delicadeza y ternura. De hecho, lel tipo de Nakshatra que es Mrigashira es del tipo “Suave”, lo que propicia la actividad de este tipo de actividades. Evitad en estos días venideros cualquier tipo de confrontación o trato áspero. Estas son las carcaterísticas principales de este Tránsito. Cada Nakshatra tiene además un poder especial y único, llamado “Shakti”. Aquí es el Prinana Shakti o poder de "dar plenitud y alegría".

Atención a quienes tengáis luna en Mrigashira, o incluso el Ascendente en esta Nakshatra. Si os he leido yo la Carta Astral es lo prmiero que os indico: vuestro Ascendente y vuestra luna natal mediante no solo el signo sino en particular la Nakshatra. Si tienes luna natal aquí te recomiendo más que a nadie las prácticas que indico, pues son de gran valor en unos momentos que van a ser decisivos para ti durante las próximas semanas.
Resumiendo, mis consejos pasan por:
- guardar algún momento para sentarte, respirar y meditar
- mirando al Sur (dirección auspiciosa de Mrigashira)
- Puedes entonar el mantra de Marte ya que es quien rige esta mansión lunar (Aum Mangalaya Namaha)
- El Mantra de Vishnu: “Aum Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya “
- El mantra “Aum Namo Bhagavate Dattatreyaya”
- Tambień la sílaba “Kaa”, que pertenece a este preciso espacio del cielo donde se da la Luna Llena
- Se cree que dar hoy algo en donación a quien lo necesita aumenta en más de 30 veces el beneficio kármico.

Tonight's full moon is related to Dattatreya, which connects us directly to the Trimurti or main triad of gods of Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. It is also partly related to Krishna, as Krishna himself says in the Bhagavad Gita (10.35): "Of the months, I am Margashira".

I always talk about Nakshatras, as Jyotish or Vedic Astrology is mainly based on them. And like every lunar month, it is named after the Nakshatra in which its Full Moon is celebrated, in this case the Nakshatra Mrigashira. And the syllable that connects to this lunar mansion is "Ka", or "Kaa" which you can recite as a mantra. The auspicious direction for this Nakshatra is South. The ruling planet of this lunar mansion is Mars; and the deity is Soma, the lunar deity.

The animal that represents it is the Deer, Mrigashira means "the head of the deer, which likes to explore its surroundings, with gentleness and tenderness. In fact, the type of Nakshatra that is Mrigashira is of the "Gentle" type, which is conducive to the activity of such activities. Attention to those of you who have the Moon in Mrigashira, or even the Ascendant in this Nakshatra. If I have read your birth chart, this is the first thing I indicate: your Ascendant and your natal moon through not only the sign but in particular the Nakshatra.
